Where To Get Quality Articles For Your Website or Blog
by Mike Griffith
Are you an online marketer wanting to know where to get quality articles for your website or blog? Keep reading...
If you're an internet marketer there is one thing you must have in order to succeed: Content. All your marketing efforts are in vain if you don't have quality, unique articles for your website or blog. But don't fret. Here are some suggestions that will help you add quality content that will make your online business a successful venture.
Get Free Reprint Articles at the Article Directories
Article directories such as EzineArticles, GoArticles and ArticlesBase are teeming with free reprint articles. These are popular sites with high traffic and are loaded with articles you can publish on your blog or website free of charge.
The only thing they require is that you publish the article in it's entirety, including the writer's resource box, along with the author's link. And you're not allowed to edit the article in any way. It's a win-win situation. The author gets free advertising and you get free content for your website.
But there's one downside to using articles from article directories.
First, you will be publishing duplicate content, because other bloggers and webmasters are publishing the same articles on their sites. And this "duplicate content" could cause the search engines to practically ignore your article.
Second, if you're new to article marketing and don't know where to get quality articles, you might want to pass on the article directories. That's because many of them have second-rate and poorly written articles that could reflect poorly on your status as an "expert."
Third, you have to post the author's live links on your site. And that means you're giving the author free advertising on your website. Ouch!
But don't fret. Here's a little light at the end of this tunnel. Here are a few suggestions that should help:
Use Free Reprint Articles.
Many times authors of ebooks and other online marketers who have affiliate programs will offer you articles where you simply replace their links in the resource box with your own affiliate link for a program you're promoting. This strategy has much more appeal than traditional reprint articles because you now have an opportunity to make money promoting your own affiliate product.
Hire A Copywriter or Ghostwriter
A copywriter is a writer who specializes in writing copy that sells, and allows you to take the credit. A ghostwriter is a freelance writer who writes reports and articles for you and let's you put your name on them. You can find them all over the web. However, they can be quite expensive.
Write Your Own Articles
How about writing some of your articles yourself? Don't have the time? Here's a strategy that will allow you to post quality content to your site without having to do all the writing, while letting YOU become the expert instead of someone else.
My Favorite Strategy: Stock Up on PLR Articles
PLR (private Label Rights) articles are articles written by a freelancer or a ghostwriter and sold to the general public. When you purchase these articles you buy the right to edit them and change them or change them any way you want -- and place your name on them as the author. You just rewrite them and publish them on your own website.
Where to Get Good PLR Articles On Any Subject
The best source I know for PLR articles is EasyPLR. Their articles are written and edited by professional on-staff writers. Their articles are very limited in availability, which means every article marketer out there won't be using the same material you're publishing.
In addition to PLR articles, they also have wide selection of PLR Reports and PLR eCourses. Their articles are sold in article niche packs, which saves you money over buying individual articles. And they have PLR articles on any subject.
Now that you know where to get your PLR articles, here's Why You Should Rewrite Your PLR Articles
